1)The direction in which I may choose to go with my career in criminal justice is within the criminal justice administration .The position in Criminal Justice Administration focuses on the leadership and operations of the various aspects of the criminal justice system, such as the courts and law enforcement, which work together to help prevent and punish crime. Being involved with preventing crime statistical data would be influence my position in regards to possibly allocating where additional funds or resources that may be needed to help prevent such crimes. Deploying more officers, maybe have neighborhood events to possibly start neighborhood watches, employ more police cameras in the neighborhood to see if that helps to deter the crime. the advantages of data driven. Data from crime sites can be entered into databases created to look for linkages between cases by law enforcement agencies around the country. With such useful resources that statistical data provides it leads to creating new procedures and seeing what works and what does not. Also, assisting in procedures currently in place and how to improve those if needed.
